ANDERSON, Ind. – Anderson University hit a .229 clip and held the Earlham College volleyball team to a .072 attack percentage as the Ravens swept the Quakers 25-19, 25-14, 25-18 in a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) match on Friday evening.
Sophomores Ashleigh Burton and Skylar Muckway led the Earlham offense with nine and eight kills respectively. Sophomore Denisha Mataia and freshman Angelica Carpio added four kills each. Freshman setter Lauren Jackson assisted on 26 of the Quakers' 30 kills while sophomore libero Megan Hedinger had 16 digs.
Courtney Copp led the Ravens with 11 kills and a .320 attack percentage. Bayley Smith, Emily Hale, and Hannah O'Brien finished with over six kills. Libero Megan Wade added 20 digs to lead the Anderson back row.
The Quakers return to action on Tuesday at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. First serve is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
