RICHMOND, Ind. – Earlham College sophomore Ellie Haland was named the Most Valuable Runner of the 2019 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships and a total of five Quakers were named to the all-conference team when the HCAC's list of track honors was announced Thursday.
Haland won the 800m (2:22.05) and the 3000m steeplechase (11:15.94), and finished second in the 1500m run (4:48.30). She also ran a leg for Earlham's fourth-place team in the 4x400m relay (4:10.91). Altogether, Haland earned 29.25 points for Earlham women's track & field at this year's HCAC outdoor meet.
