RICHMOND, Ind. -- Earlham College first year Anna Hahn has been selected to the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Tennis All-Conference team, while senior Yunjoo Shin was also recognized for Honorable Mention, when the All-HCAC teams were announced on Wednesday.
Yunjoo Shin finished with a record of 5-7 including a 2-5 mark in conference play. She also tabbed a record of 6-6 through doubles play. This is Shin's second Honorable Mention after winning the award last year.
Freshman Tsitsi Makufa represented Earlham on the HCAC Sportsmanship team. Makufa finished with a record of 1-2 and a 0-1 record in doubles play.
Coach Shawn Hyden is proud of how all three athletes performed this season, commenting on how well put-together senior Shin has become, while also looking forward to the future of freshman Hahn.
Women's Tennis finished their season with an overall record of 6-8 tabbing 3-5 in conference play. The Quakers made the first round of the conference tournament play for the second year in a row.
