Women's Tennis Drops Match to Manchester


RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to Manchester University in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) action at the Earlham Tennis Courts on Sunday afternoon.

The Spartans (3-1, 2-0 HCAC) won all three doubles flights 8-0. Junior Arrita Domi put up a fight in the first set of her first singles match, but ultimately fell 6-3 in the set and then 6-1 to Erin Cordill.

Sophomore Chloe Culler fell to Katy Ashpole 6-2, 6-1 at fourth singles while Alaiana Beckner defeated sophomore Robyn Thomas 6-0, 6-1 at sixth singles.

Manchester took second, third, and fifth singles without dropping a game.

The Quakers return to action tomorrow (Monday) for a 4 p.m. match against Indiana Tech.
