Women's Tennis Heads to Capital Wednesday
RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College women's tennis team hits the road for a Wednesday match at Capital University (Ohio). Play is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.

The Teams: Earlham and Capital. The Quakers come into the contest with an 0-1 record having fallen at Marietta to open the season last Sunday. The Crusaders have not played a match this season, but finished last year with a 3-11 record.

The Coaches: Earlham is led by first-year head coach Justin Roe. A graduate of Keuka College, Roe guided the men's program to a third-place finish in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) last spring. The Quakers advanced to the HCAC Tournament finals. Rob Postma enters his sixth season leading Capital.

The Players: Senior Jordyn Grimes and sophomore Lexi Aligrabes played first and second singles respectively against Marietta. Aligrabes came close to taking the first set against the Pioneers, falling 7-5 to her opponent, Elyssa Ackerman. Ashlin Gable is the top returner for Capital having played first singles a season ago.
