CINCINATTI, Ohio - After a day of mishaps, the Mount St. Joesph Lions make the Quakers 0-1 in their first conference match of the season.
All nine of the Lions goals were scored in the first half. The first goal was scored in the second minute and the last was scored in minute 42. Mount St. Joesph's Etelle Nfor was responsible for three of the nine goals. In the second period Hannah Wallhausser came up with a goal in minute 85 to make the score 9-1.
The amount of opportunities each team had on their attacks is what created the margin between the two teams. Earlham had five shots on the goal while the Lions had 17.
Earlham is back in conference action on October 3 at Transylvania at 7:00 pm.
