RICHMOND, Ind. – A three-goal surge in the second half propelled Wilmington College (Ohio) to a 4-0 win over host Earlham College, in a non-conference women's soccer clash Wednesday afternoon at Matlack-Messer Field.

Alex Vestal scored twice for Wilmington, who improved to 5-2-0 overall with the win. Hanna Greaney and Madison Wiedeman tacked on single goals for the Ohio Quakers.

Wilmington outshot Earlham, 11-1, and had six corner kick opportunities to Earlham's none.

Maroon and White keeper Madeline Chomentowski logged three saves over her 90 minutes in goal, while Wilmington's Leda Moyer registered one stop.

Earlham saw its record slip to 4-3-0 overall with the loss. The Maroon and White will be back in action on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2018, when it hosts Principia College in a 1:00 p.m. match.
