RICHMOND, Ind. – For the third time this season, Earlham College women's lacrosse first year Claudette Roskamp has been named the Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
Roskamp earned the award after her performance in the Quakers' 15-3 road conference win over Anderson University on Saturday. She notched six goals and one assist in the win, including five goals in the first half and four of the Quakers' eight goals that led to an 8-0 Earlham lead by the 14-minute mark of the opening frame.
Roskamp's six-goal tally against Anderson gives her 61 goals on the season, setting a new Earlham benchmark for single-season goals for the second-year program restarted in 2018. She currently leads the HCLC with 61 goals and 67 points this season and ranks sixth among NCAA Division III leaders in total goals.
Earlham women's lacrosse is currently 8-4 overall, 2-0 in the HCLC, with four conference games remaining on the schedule. The Quakers will return to action on Wednesday, April 10, when they host Mount St. Joseph at 7:00 p.m. at Darrell Beane Stadium.
