RICHMOND, Ind. – Earlham College first year Claudette Roskamp has been named the Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference (HCLC) Offensive Player of the Week, following her goal-scoring exploits over the Quakers' first three games of the 2019 season.
Roskamp is the first Earlham player to earn conference Offensive Player of the Week honors.
Roskamp registered 22 goals over Earlham's first three games this season. She charted seven goals in victories over Alma College (10-7) and Muskingum University (16-4), and notched eight goals in the Quakers' road loss to Trine University (16-12).
"I'm extremely proud of Claudette for the way she has opened the season for us," said Lindsey Grundfast, Earlham's head women's lacrosse coach. "22 goals, 19 ground balls, and 21 draw controls in her first three college games is an incredible achievement, and I'm impressed by her ability to lead our offense early on."
Earlham returns to action on Thursday, March 7, when it hosts DePauw University at Darrell Beane Stadium. Start time for the game is 5:00 p.m.
