RICHMOND, Indiana – The Earlham College women's basketball team looks to avenge an early season defeat at the hands of Anderson University when the Quakers travel to face the Ravens at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
The Teams: Earlham and Anderson. The Quakers are looking to return to winning ways after falling to Defiance College 68-62 at Schuckman Court on Wednesday. The Ravens have not won in 2017 and dropped a 55-51 decision to Mount St. Joseph University on Wednesday.
The Coaches: Earlham is under the direction of interim head coach Kevin Hayden. A Ball State University alumnus, Hayden served as an assistant men's basketball coach for the previous two seasons along with his duties as assistant to the director of athletics. Lindsay Shade is in her second season as Anderson's head coach.
The Players: Senior Hannah Franklin, who recently became the 13th member of the 1,000-point club, leads the Quakers in scoring at 11.2 per game while also helping others score, dishing out nearly three assists per contest. Freshman Shannon Pittman scorers nine points per game while junior Mariah Flynn, freshman Camryn White, and senior Lexi McFarland are the other Quakers who score over five points per game. Senior Maya Luney leads the squad in rebounding at 6.1 points per game. Kacyee Strunk and Alyssa Zook both average double figures in scoring for Anderson while Jireh Hart grabs 12.9 rebounds per game.

Triples Record: Lexi McFarland has made 128 three-pointers in her Earlham career. She needs seven more triples to pass former teammate Kasin Spay (2012-16) who has the program's career record for triples with 134.
First Time Around: Anderson claimed a 58-53 victory over Earlham at Schuckman Court on Dec. 3. Pittman led the Quakers in scoring with 13 points.
Recent History: Earlham is 5-8 against Anderson since joining the HCAC prior to the 2010-11 season. The Quakers had a four-game winning streak over the Ravens snapped in 2015.
