RICHMOND, Ind. – Two members of the Earlham College men's soccer team earned recognition for their efforts during the 2019 season. Sophomore Andrew Belec (Oxford, Ohio/Talawanda) and junior Jeffrey Douyere (Cincinnati, Ohio/Lakota West) were named HCAC All-Conference Honorable Mention.
Belec appeared in 18 games while starting 16 of them. The midfielder scored one goal. His shot on goal percentage was .308 for the season and had one game winning goal for the Quakers versus Franklin.
Douyere appeared and started all 18 games for the Quakers. He was defensive stopper for the team and a leader on the field. He took one shot on the season to go along with his defensive prowess.
Earlham finished the season 4-12-2 and 3-6 in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play.
