RICHMOND, Fla. – Earlham College men's soccer capped its 2018 season by placing three Quakers on the All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference teams, when the conference's post-season awards were unveiled Thursday,
Senior midfielder Yuki Adams and sophomore midfielder Joel Michael Nti-Kyeremeh were both named Second Team All-HCAC selections, while sophomore midfielder Drew Fitzgibbon was tabbed as an Honorable Mention pick.
Elijah Sadler was the Earlham men's soccer selection for the Christopher M. Ragsdale Sportsmanship Team.
Adams finished the season with six goals for 12 points, including the game-winning score in Earlham's 3-2 overtime victory over UC-Clermont in the Quakers' 2018 season opener. He is currently tied for 10th in the HCAC goals.
Nti-Kyeremeh was second on the team in scoring with seven points, after charting two goals and three assists during the 2018 campaign. He had two goals and one assist, including the game-winning goal, in the Quakers' 3-1 triumph over Transylvania that was the Pioneers' only loss in conference play.
Fitzgibbon logged three goals for six points in 2018, and was third on the team in scoring. He notched the game-winner in Earlham's 1-0 Senior Day victory over Franklin.
Sadler, a first year defender for the Quakers, saw action in 10 games during his rookie campaign.
Led by fourth-year Head Coach Sam Byrd, Earlham finished the 2018 season with a 3-13-0 overall record, 2-7-0 in the HCAC and tied for eighth place.
