Men's Soccer Picked Fifth in HCAC Preseason Poll

GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Earlham College men's soccer team was picked to finish fifth in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) in the preseason coaches' poll released by the conference on Thursday.

Earlham, which finished third in the conference last season, received 62 points while Franklin College finished one point ahead of the Quakers. Defending regular season and tournament champions Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology was picked to repeat as league champions. A complete poll breakdown can be found below.

The Quakers finished last season 9-7-1 and 6-2-1 in HCAC competition. Earlham will open its 2016 campaign on Sept. 2 against Elmhurst College. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. at Matlack Field.
