Men's lacrosse falls to in-state rival Wabash

RICHMOND, Ind. – A nine-goal outburst by Wabash College in the first quarter proved to be an insurmountable lead for Earlham College to overcome, and the Quakers fell to the Little Giants, 24-0, on Tuesday evening at Darrell Beane Stadium.

Tucker Dixon tallied seven goals and three assists for Wabash, who improved to 2-5 with the victory. Steven Stark and Collin Brennan each recorded four goals and three assists, while Austin Crosley had four goals. AJ Shaheen recorded three goals and Dajon Thomas had two to cap the scoring for the Little Giants.

Earlham was outshot 51-4 by Wabash, with Quaker goalie John Okker-Edging recording 12 saves. The Little Giants finished with 45 ground balls to the Quakers' 16.

Earlham men's lacrosse returns to action on Saturday, March 24, when the Quakers host Chatham University at 11:00 a.m. at Darrell Beane Stadium.
