NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Freshman Nori Kasai tallied two goals for the Quakers as Earlham College men's lacrosse fell to Westminster College (Pa.), 28-2, in an Ohio River Lacrosse Conference matchup Saturday afternoon at Burry Stadium.
Kasai notched his first goal of the day at the 12:02 mark of the second quarter, breaking Westminster's 8-0 run to open the game.
After two more Titan goals to extend the Westminster lead to 10-1, Kasai charted his second of the day at the 12:44 mark of the third quarter.
Westminster outshot Earlham, 63-17, with Quaker goalie John Okker-Edging charting five saves. The Quakers were 8-of-16 on clear attempts, and tallied 17 ground balls on the afternoon.
Earlham men's lacrosse concludes the two-game road trip on Monday, March 12, when the Quakers travel to Bethany, W.Va., to face Franciscan University (Ohio). Game time is slated for 1:00 p.m.
