RICHMOND, Ind. – Earlham College sophomore Jared Stone (American Canyon, Calif./St. Patrick-St. Vincent) has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Golf Player of the Week, after leading all HCAC competitors at last weekend's Transylvania Fall Invitational.

Stone finished tied for 12th in a field of 88 golfers at the Transy Fall Invite with a five-over 221. He carded rounds of 73, 75, and 73 at the par 72, 6,873-yard University Club of Kentucky. He led Earlham to a 14th-place finish out of 16 teams in the event.

Stone is only the second Earlham men's golfer to earn HCAC Player of the Week honors, joining Nate Mynatt who received the accolade twice in 2018-19.

Earlham men's golf returns to the course this Saturday, Sept. 7, and Sunday, Sept. 8, when it competes in the Franklin College Dick Park Memorial Invite at Hillview Country Club.
