NCAC Releases 2016 Preseason Poll

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Earlham College field hockey team was picked to finish eighth by the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) field hockey coaches in the 2016 NCAC Preseason Field Hockey Poll released by the league on Thursday.

Kenyon College, two-time reigning NCAC champions, was picked to win the conference for a third year in a row with 54 points while receiving five first place votes. DePauw University finished second with 53 points and two first place votes.

The Quakers, which had their best season since 2009 last year, begin the 2016 campaign with three straight home games including the season-opener against Concordia University (Wis.) on Sept. 3.
