RICHMOND, Ind. – Earlham College head field hockey coach Heather Moore announced her recruiting class for the upcoming 2016 season. Five freshman from three different countries will join the Quakers and look to improve upon a 4-13 record last season.
Moore said this of the incoming class, ""The incoming class is a diverse group of individuals who represent three countries and three different states within the United States. Each one of these individuals has experienced life in different ways, and we are excited to add each of these experiences to campus life and our field hockey program. Each member has had experience playing for a strong high school or club team before joining our field hockey program, so they already understand both the technical and tactical aspects of the game. I look forward to seeing them grow over the next four years!"
"As a group they will add a competitive spirit that will continue to enhance our field hockey program in almost every position on the field from goal keeper to forward," Moore continued. "They are motivated, energetic, and passionate individuals who will add these characteristics to increase our team chemistry! I believe this group will have an impact on our program immediately!"
