Baseball earns American Baseball Coaches Association Academic Excellence Award

RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College baseball team has earned the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award for the second consecutive year. The Quakers complied a 3.35 overall grade-point average (GPA) for the fall and spring semesters of the 2018-19 academic year. ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award winners must post a combined team GPA of 3.0 or higher.

The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference had seven institutions represented in total. Joining Earlham were Anderson, Bluffton, Franklin, Hanover, Manchester and Rose-Hulman.

Eighty-one NCAA Division III programs earned this award.
