The Pioneers won the first game of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference twinbill 12-3 before taking the second contest 8-4.
In the opener, Transylvania (12-11, 6-3) scored five runs in the first three innings off of Earlham starter Nate Hube (2-3), who took the loss. The Pioneers added four runs in the sixth and three more in the seventh.
The Quakers (11-10, 3-6) got on the scoreboard in the eighth on a three-run double by Ryan Hayes.
Hayes, Thomas Rea and Devin Spurgon led the Quakers with two hits each.
Ted Williams hit a home run as he led off the second contest to give the Quakers a 1-0 advantage.
Transylvania grabbed a 3-1 lead in the second inning before the Quakers tied the game in the fourth when Hayes knocked in a run with a double. Alex Arovits finished the rally by producing a run on a fielder's choice.
In the bottom of the fourth, the Pioneers went on top with a run to make it 4-3. The followed with two more runs in the seventh and another pair in the eighth.
Williams brought home Earlham's final run in the ninth when he knocked in Arovits on a fielder's choice.
Rea led the Quakers with three hits, while Hayes and Arovits added two apiece.
Zach Lee (4-1) started the second game for the Quakers. He gave up five runs before he left the mound with two outs in the seventh.
The two teams finish the HCAC series on Sunday with a single game that starts at noon.
