Seniors Alex Arovits, Ryan Hayes and Ted Williams were on the list along with junior Matt Brankle and sophomore Ethan Bailey.
An All-HCAC Honorable Mention choice last year, Arovits was second on the team in hits with 41, while posting the third best batting average at .311. He also had a nine doubles and 25 RBI.
An all-conference first team selection in 2013, Hayes was named the NCAA Division III National Hitter of the Week for April 29-May 5 by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and as the HCAC Player of the Week. He set a school record with eight homers for the season and currently is Earlham's all-time leader in long balls with 19 in three years.
Williams is second on Earlham's all-time list with nine triples. He is fourth in RBI with 89 and fifth in runs scored with 86.
In his final game of last season, Brankle tossed a complete game victory against the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology to finish with a 3-3 record. He was a member of the All-HCAC Sportsmanship Team in 2013.
Bailey was second on the squad with a .337 batting average and 12 stolen bases after becoming a starter in the outfield midway through last season to earn a place on the All-HCAC Honorable Mention list.
The top three teams in the pre-season poll all received votes for first place. Anderson University was selected as the favorite with Manchester University in second and Franklin College in third. Earlham was picked seventh.
Earlham opens the season on Saturday, Feb. 22. The Quakers travel to The University of the South for a doubleheader at 1 p.m.
