RICHMOND, Ind. – Earlham College volleyball senior Ashleigh Burton captured Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week honors for the second consecutive week, after leading the Quakers to a perfect five-win week.
Burton hit .535 over 15 sets in the five matches, helping improve Earlham's record to 8-1 to start the 2018 season.
She tallied 45 kills – an average of 3.00 kills per set – four blocks over the five matches. She recorded her week's high of 13 kills on 14 attacks with no errors (.929) in a three-set win over Capital University, and had a pair of block assists and two digs to help the Quaker cause.
