Beel, Sadiq, and Haland all with top five finishes at Marv Frye Invite

DELAWARE, Ohio – Hailey Beel posted the third-best 400m time in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference this season after clocking a 1:03.42 with a fourth-place finish at Saturday's Ohio Wesleyan Marv Frye Invitational.

Beel's performance was one of several top-10 efforts by Quaker women's track on the afternoon.

Aisha Sadiq was third in the 100m dash with a time of 12.933, beating out fourth-place Megan Sievers of Ohio Wesleyan by one-thousandth of a second. Ellie Haland was fifth in the 1500m run after finishing in 5:00.35.

Chloe Lamenzo placed seventh in the long jump after a leap of 15-0, and Annalee Wilson cleared the height of 9-6 1/4 to finish eighth in the pole vault.

In the relays, Earlham finished fourth in both the 4 x 100m (51.15) and the 4 x 400m (4:29.54).

Earlham women's track and field will be back in action on Saturday, April 14, when it travels to Greencastle, Ind., to compete in the Indiana Division III Championship hosted by DePauw University.
