Women's Soccer Heads North For Non-Conference Finale on Tuesday

RICHMOND, Indiana – The Earlham College women's soccer team finishes non-conference play on Tuesday with a trip to Grace Bible College (Michigan). Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.

The Teams: Earlham and Grace Bible. The Quakers are 3-5-0 this season after falling to Marietta College 2-0 at Matlack-Messer Stadium on Saturday. The Tigers stand at 3-2-1 on the season and have won two games in a row including an 11-0 shutout rout of Andrews University.

The Coaches: Chad Hardin is in his second year as Earlham's head women's soccer coach. He previously achieved a 43-42-5 record in five seasons at Marian University under Hardin after a 6-27-2 mark the previous two seasons. Scott Teesdale has been Grace's women's soccer coach since the 2014 season.

The Players: A trio of freshmen lead Earlham offensively. Freshman Chloe Lamenzo as scored eight goals and dished out two assists for 15 points while freshmen Jordan Blackburne and Yana Miller have both scored four goals. Sophomore goalkeeper Sari Stissi, who earned a shutout win over St. Mary-Woods last Saturday, has a 1.63 goals against average. Felicia Feirick scored four goals in the Tigers' 11-0 victory over Andrews while Alex Pelley also had a hat trick.

Youth Movement: Earlham's top four offensive producers are all freshmen. Furthermore, 50 of 60 offensive points have come from first-years.

Road Woes: The Quakers have yet to win a road game this season.

Recent History: Earlham is 0-1-1 against Grace Bible since joining the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) prior to the 2010 season. The Tigers won 2-1 last season.
