Wallace and Blackburne receive All-Conference honors in women’s lax

RICHMOND, Ind. – Earlham College women's lacrosse senior Olivia Wallace and first year Jordan Blackburne were both selected to the Ohio River Lacrosse Conference All-Conference team, which was announced Monday.

Both Wallace and Blackburne were Second Team All-ORLC honorees.

In addition, first year Krista Kirk was tabbed for the ORLC's Sportsmanship Team.

Wallace completed the year with 56 goals, including 21 free position goals, to go with three assists for 59 points. She was tied for eighth in the ORLC in goals and 13th in total points, and was tied for third in the conference in free position goals. Wallace's 93 draw controls ranked her third in the ORLC.

Blackburne charted 177 saves – second-most in the ORLC, and currently 24th among Division III statistical leaders – while averaging 11.06 saves per game. She posted a 12.63 goals against average with a .467 save percentage.

Kirk recorded four goals and two assists for six points during the season and was sixth on the team in total points. She also tallied 15 ground balls during the season.

Earlham women's lacrosse finished its first season of competition with a 5-11 record. The Quakers posted a 4-7 ledger in the ORLC and finished ninth out of 12 teams in the conference standings.
