WAYNESBURG, Pa. – Sophomore Emma Lady netted six goals and senior Olivia Wallace tacked on five more as Earlham College women's lacrosse closed out the 2018 season with a 17-2 win over Waynesburg University, Saturday afternoon at Wiley Stadium.
Earlham completed the season with a 5-11 mark, 4-7 in the Ohio River Lacrosse Conference.
The Quakers jumped out to a 10-0 lead before even letting the Yellow Jackets onto the scoreboard, and carried an 11-1 advantage into the intermission.
Kirk scored the Maroon and White's first goal just 13 seconds into the contest, and Lady rattled off the next three goals allowing Earlham to grab a 4-0 before even 10 minutes had elapsed off the game clock.
Earlham outshot Waynesburg, 48-5, and enjoyed a 42-16 advantage in ground balls.
Quaker goalie Jordan Blackburne was scarcely tested, and needed to make only one save on the afternoon. The Yellow Jackets' Carissa Doody charted 15 stops in the Waynesburg cage.
