THE SHORT STORY: The Earlham College women's golf team closed out play at the College of Wooster Spring Invitational on Sunday with a second round 394, giving the Quakers an 801 for the tournament.

OFF THE TEE

  • Megan Garner fired an 84 in Sunday's second round and posted a 172 (+28) for the tournament, climbing into a tie for 18th on the individual leaderboard. Denison's Emmy Timberlake took medalist honors for the event with rounds of 78 and 74 to card a 152 (+8) over the 36-hole event.
  • Claire Waggener was next among Earlham finishers with an 88 in the second round, giving her a 183 (+39) for the tournament and tied for 48th overall.
  • Denison won the team title after carding a 648 (+72) for the tournament following a 320 in Sunday's final round.
