Women's Golf Sits in Seventh Place After Round One of HCAC Championships

ROUND ONE RESULTS

NICHOLASVILLE, Kentucky – The Earlham College women's golf team stands in seventh place after round one of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Championships hosted by Transylvania University on Saturday.

Earlham finished the day with a team round of 385 strokes, putting the Quakers three shots ahead of eighth-place Defiance College. Host Transylvania leads the field by six strokes after a round of 310.

Sophomore Emma Wilkins paced the Quakers by tying her career-low with a round of 90 to sit in 24th place while fellow sophomore Hannah Toresdahl fired a round of 92.

Day two of competition begins at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow (Sunday).
