Women's Golf Tied for Fourth After Saturday's Round at Earlham Fall Invitational

RICHMOND, Indiana - The Earlham College women's golf team is in a tie for fourth place with Manchester University after the first round of the 2017 Earlham Fall Invitational hosted at Forest Hills Country Club on Saturday.

Both the Spartans and the Quakers finished the first round with 387 strokes. Indiana University East leads the field with a 349-stroke round as a team while Mount St. Joseph University, the top Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) finisher, sits in third place

Individually, sophomore Emma Wilkins led Earlham with a round of 93. Freshman Megan Gardner turned in a scoreboard of 95 while sophomore Hannah Toresdahl finished her day one stroke under the century.

Day two of competition begins with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m.
