NICHOLASVILLE, Kentucky - The Earlham College women's golf team finished in 13th place at the two-day Transylvania University Invitational/Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Preview this weekend.
The Quakers finished the event with a team score of 793 strokes including a 25-stroke improvement from round one to round two. The University of Texas at Dallas won the tournament with 628 strokes while host Transylvania was the top HCAC finisher as the Pioneers took third place.
Individually, sophomores Hannah Toresdahl and Aaron Monroe finished tied for 44th and 49th place respectively. Toresdahl fired a round of 89 on Sunday while Monroe and sophomore Emma Wilkins both carded 90 on the final day of competition.
The Quakers host the Earlham Fall Invitational at Forest Hills Country Club this coming weekend.
