TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Junior Annalee Wilson highlighted the Earlham College track and field team's performance at the Rose-Hulman Friday Night Invite by setting a school record in the Pole Vault on Friday evening.
The Lyme, New Hampshire, native vaulted a personal best 9' 3 1/4" to finish in third place. Sophomore Rachel Wilkins also placed third in her event, the 800-Meter Dash, with a time of 2:30.45.
The Quakers' 4-x-200-Meter Relay team of freshmen Sari Stissi, Vi Tran, and Jemayla Nelsonwood along with sophomore Lydia Harvey finished in fourth place with a time of 2:04.37. Earlham's other relay team for the 4-x-400-Meter Relay also placed fourth. Wilkins, Tran, Wilson, and Harvey ran the race with a time of 4:36.68.
Senior Gabriel Penk finished the 3,000-Meter Run in fifth place with a time of 9:15.42. The Portland, Oregon, native also finished one place out of the scoring in the Mile Run, placing ninth with a time of 4:33.62.
Earlham returns to action at the Small College Invitational hosted by DePauw University on Feb. 3.
