GREENCASTLE, Ind. – Earlham College first year Nate Papachristos turned in a pair of top five results in middle distance events to pace the Quakers at the 2018 Indiana Division III Track and Field Championships, held Saturday at DePauw University's Blackstock Stadium.
Papachristos was third in the 800m with a time of 2:00.08, and crossed the line fifth in the 1500m with a mark of 4:10.18.
Noah Scherf also earned points for the Quakers in the meet with his fifth-place finish in the 5000m run, posting a time of 15:46.38.
The Quakers earned a combined six points in the two relay events. Earlham finished fifth in the 4 x 400m relay with a time of 3:30.69, and was seventh in the 4 x 100m relay with a time of 47.70.
Overall, Earlham tallied 20 points in the meet and placed eighth overall.
The Quakers return to the track next Saturday, April 21, when they head to Cincinnati, Ohio, to compete in the Mount St. Joseph Invitational.
