Men's lacrosse stopped by Transylania in ORLC road contest

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Host Transylvania University rattled off 11 goals in the first quarter on its way to a 29-0 win over Earlham College men's lacrosse, in an Ohio River Lacrosse Conference matchup Wednesday night at Pat Deacon Stadium.

Brad Clements paced the Pioneers (11-6, 10-1 ORLC) with five goals and three assists, while Trenton Sneed tallied four goals in the victory.

Earlham (0-14, 0-10 ORLC) goalies Xavier Flores and Erick Quintanilla evenly split the duties in goal during the game, with Flores recording nine saves with 23 goals allowed in the first half and Quintanilla recording four stops in the second half.

The Quakers close out the 2018 season on Saturday, April 28, when they travel to western Pennsylvania to face Grove City College in an ORLC contest. Game time is 11:00 a.m.
