Men's Golf Concludes Fall Season With Fourth Place Finish at Yellow Jacket Invitational

PERRYSBURG, Ohio - The Earlham College men's golf team concluded its 2017 fall season with a fourth place finish in the Yellow Jacket Invitational hosted by Defiance College on Friday.

Earlham shot a 332 as a team on Friday to complete the 2-round tournament with 660 strokes. Columbus State Community College finished one stroke ahead of the Quakers while host Defiance won the invitational with a team score of 642 strokes. 

Individually, sophomore Graham Sherard finished second individually with a round of 76 on Friday and a 2-round score of 157. Defiance's Alex Miday earned medalist honors by beating the field by seven strokes.

Sophomore Matt Truex and freshman Garrett Schuler carded rounds of 85 on Friday to finish the tournament in a tie for 12th and 14th place respectively.
