RICHMOND, Indiana – The Earlham College men's golf team travels to the Dick Park Invitational hosted by Franklin College this weekend.
The Invitational: Earlham will be joined by Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) schools Hanover College, Manchester University, Mount St. Joseph University, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Transylvania University and host Franklin. Wabash College and Berea College will also be competing this weekend.
The Course: The Fort Golf Club, playing at a par of 72 and 6,791 yards, will serve as the course for the two-day event.
The Coach: Earlham is under the direction of second-year head coach Matt Gehring. A graduate of Defiance College, Gehring spent the previous four seasons as head women's golf coach and assistant men's golf coach at his alma mater.
The Players: Sophomore Graham Sherard finished third for third place with a rounds of 77 and 75 at the Beaver Fall Classic last weekend. Fellow sophomore Nate Mynatt finished in sole possession of 11ths place with a two-round score of 15finished third for third place with a rounds of 77 and 75 at the Beaver Fall Classic last weekend.
