RICHMOND, Indiana – The Earlham College men's basketball team opens Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) play on Saturday when the Quakers host Anderson University for a 3 p.m. contest at Schuckman Court.
The Teams: Earlham and Anderson. The Quakers are 2-3 on the season after a 110-17 blowout victory over Fairhaven Baptist College on Wednesday. The Ravens are 3-1 overall and coming off a 102-92 victory over Calvin College on Wednesday.
The Coaches: Jason Polykoff is in his fourth season leading the Quakers' men's basketball program. Polykoff, who came to Earlham from the University of Pennsylvania, led the program to its best finish in a decade last season. Owen Handy enters his sixth season at the helm of the Ravens' men's basketball team in 2017-18. He has improved Anderson's record each of the last four seasons.
The Players: Elijah Wilson-Thomas leads the Quakers in scoring at 20.2 points per game while Chianey Zolman and Darrell Hutchison Jr. both average double digits in scoring. Jacob Mosher and Cezannie Mount, who played in their first game this season on Wednesday, scored 18 and 14 points respectively. In ball control statistics Tarig Eldosougi leads the squad in rebounding at 5.4 boards per contest while Blake Bonin dishes out five assists per contest. Stanley Duncan, who poured in 40 points in Anderson's win over Calvin, averages 25.0 points per game while Trevor Lucas scores 18.5 points per contest while leading the team in rebounding at 5.5 boards per contest.

Recent History: Earlham is 2-12 against Anderson since joining the HCAC prior to the 2010-11 season. Anderson has won the last four meetings including 85-70 at Schuckman Court last season.
