Turlings Garners NCAC Player of the Week Honors

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Earlham College field hockey junior Maite Turlings has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Field Hockey Player of the Week for games played from Sept. 10-17.

Turlings scored two goals off penalty corners in the Quakers' victory over Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday, Earlham's first win over the Battling Bishops since Oct. 23, 2003. Both of Turlings' goals were assisted by her cousin, senior Megan Hut.

Through four games this season, Turlings leads the Quakers' offense with three goals and one assist for seven points. Earlham (1-3, 1-2 NCAC) travels to the College of Wooster and Oberlin College this weekend.
