Hut and Turlings Honored by NFHCA

COMPLETE LIST OF ALL-REGION HONOREES

CHANDLER, Ariz. – Senior Megan Hut and sophomore Maite Turlings received recognition from the Longstretch/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) on Monday afternoon.

Hut garnered First Team All-Great Lakes Region for the second consecutive year while Turlings earned a spot on the Second Team All-Great Lakes Region squad.

The senior led the Quakers offensively with six goals and five assists this year. The North Coast Athletic Association (NCAC) also honored Hut as she was named First Team All-NCAC.

Turlings, Hut's cousin, scored four goals and assisted on three others. She also garnered All-NCAC recognition with a spot on the Second Team.

Earlham finished its 2016 season with six wins, marking the highest total the program has had since 2008.
