RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College field hockey hosts the College of Wooster and Oberlin College as part of homecoming weekend this weekend.

The Teams: Earlham, Wooster, and Oberlin. The Quakers enter the contest at 5-8 overall and 2-6 in North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) competition after falling 5-0 at Ohio Wesleyan University last weekend.  The Fighting Scots are 5-8 overall and 3-5 in the NCAC after a pair of road losses last weekend. The Yeowomen are 0-11 overall and 0-9 in conference play after a double overtime loss to Kenyon College last weekend.

The Coaches: Heather Moore enters her fourth year as Earlham's head coach. She led the Quakers to their best finish since 2009 in 2015 as well as a come-from-behind, overtime win over Wooster for the first time since 1993. Brenda Meese is in her 26th season leading the Wooster field hockey program while Tiffany Saunders enters her second season leading Oberlin.

The Players: Senior Megan Hut and sophomore Maite Turlings led Earlham in scoring with five and four goals respectively. The two have also dished out at least two assists. Freshman goalkeeper Camille van der Vaart averages just under seven saves per game while sophomore Natalie Blatz has a team-high seen defensive saves. Kerry and Kayla O'Connor lead Wooster in scoring with seven and six goals respectively. Maureen Coffey has scored half (six) of Oberlin's goals this season. 

First Times Around: Wooster defeated Earlham 3-2 on Sept. 16. Senior Kaitlyn Brunner and sophomore Thu Pham scored the Quakers' goals. Earlham came from two goals down twice to win a 4-3 shootout triumph at Oberlin on Sept. 17.
