Field Hockey Falls to Denison

RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College field hockey team dropped a 7-0 decision to Denison University in North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) competition on Saturday.

Denison (10-6, 8-3 NCAC) got off to a quick start, scoring just 64 seconds into the contest. The Big Red would add three more goals to take a 4-0 lead into halftime.

Three second half goals would put the game out of reach.

Junior Megan Hut took four shots to lead the Quakers offensively. Junior Kristina Brunner also took one shot.

Senior goalkeeper Kate Korobkina took the loss making nine saves in 70 minutes in net.

Earlham has a quick turnaround as it faces Kenyon at noon tomorrow (Sunday).
