GREENWOOD, Indiana – The Earlham College placed seven individuals on the All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) team, released by the conference on Wednesday.
Hundley accounted for 2,480 of Earlham's 2,903 offensive yards (85 percent) during the season including leading the squad in both rushing and passing. Hundley set the single-season rushing record with 991 yards, breaking Manny Myers' mark of 900 yards in the 2005 season.
Cooper, Hundley's top receiving target, hauled in 62 receptions for 578 yards and nine touchdowns during the 2017 campaign. Breen and Matthews, who both started all 40 games during their Earlham career, bolstered the offensive line this year.
Punter Jordan Christian and linebacker Kobe Walker garnered Honorable Mention All-HCAC honors. Christian, also a member of the Quakers' secondary, punted 56 times for an average of just under 38 yards per punt. Six of those kicks pinned opponents inside the 20-yard line. He also made six tackles as a safety. Walker led Earlham's defense with 84 tackles as well as 4.5 tackles for loss.
Cornerback Eric Byrant earned a spot on the HCAC's All-Sportsmanship team having made over five tackles per game.
Earlham finished its 2017 season with an 0-10 record overall and an 0-8 mark in conference play.
