Nate Lynch Named HCAC Baseball Hitter of the Week

GREENWOOD, Indiana – Earlham College baseball senior Nate Lynch has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Hitter of the Week for games played from April 24-30.

Lynch finished 10-20 with six RBIs and seven stolen bases in leading the Quakers to a 4-1 record last week including a perfect 4-0 mark in conference play last week. He led Earlham's offensive efforts in a series sweep against Transylvania, going 8-13 with five RBIs, five stolen bases, and four runs scored.

Already the program's career leader in stolen bases (81) and runs scored (130), Lynch is just two hits away from breaking that career program record (180). He also leads the HCAC in batting average (.429) and stolen bases (41).

Earlham, which moved into first place in the HCAC with a 4-0 week last week, hosts Mount St. Joseph and Hanover this week.
