EC Posts Victory Over Franklin

RICHMOND, Ind. — The
Earlham College women’s volleyball team picked up a 26-24, 20-25, 25-15, 25-22 victory Wednesday over
Franklin College on
Schuckman Court in the Athletics and
Wellness Center.
The match was a non-conference affair. The two squads will meet at
Franklin in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference contest on Oct. 6.
Ramona Hemmings led the Quakers with 12 kills including the final point of the match. She also led the squad with six aces, while contributing 20 digs.
Ashlee Heberger had 33 assists. Kazondra Ramos led the way with 29 digs and Callie Kinsey finished with 20 digs. Andrea Thompson topped the team with three blocks.
Earlham (1-0) visits
Spalding University for three matches on Saturday against OSU-Marion,
Rochester and the host school.
