Late Goal the Difference as Thomas More Defeats EC

RICHMOND, Ind. — A late goal hurt the
Earlham College men’s soccer team on Wednesday as the Quakers fell 1-0 to
Thomas More College on Matlack Field.
The Saints (1-0) scored at 74:20 to take the lead for good.
Thomas More led 12-6 in shots, while holding a 6-4 edge in corner kicks.
Chris Marshall had four saves for the Quakers.
Earlham (0-1) is back in action on Saturday at
Case Western Reserve University. The non-conference match gets underway at 2 p.m.
