Broadcast Schedule for Earlham Football Announced

Quakers to Appear on Television
RICHMOND, Ind. Fans of the Earlham College football team can now make plans to watch and listen to broadcasts as agreements for the 2010 season were announced on Wednesday.

Earlham’s season opener against the University of the South will be televised live over the Internet by HomeTown Sports Indiana and later rebroadcast on Comcast Cable Television.

“I'm excited that Earlham College and our football program will be in the spotlight throughout the state of Indiana on the game broadcast through the HomeTown Sports network,” said Earlham College Director of Athletics Frank Carr. “This will be a great opportunity for the college to show who and what we are, which is one of the most exciting national liberal arts colleges in the country.”

The title sponsor of the television event is Reid Orthopedics. HomeTown Sports in Richmond is on Channel 81.

The initial four dates on Comcast through out Indiana are:
• Sunday, Sept. 5 at 9 a.m.
• Sunday, Sept. 5 at 6 p.m.
• Tuesday, Sept. 7 at 7 p.m.
• Thursday, Sept. 9 at 8 p.m.

The remaining nine regular season contests will be Internet audio through Teamline with links on http://www.goearlham.com/schedule.aspx?path=football.

Emily Sells
Women's Basketball
Emily Sells scored 11 points against Transylvania University in an 84-80 loss on Feb. 1.

She posted team-high numbers with seven rebounds, six assists and three steals in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference contest on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center.

Men's Basketball
Ryan Taylor led Earlham with 19 points against nationally-ranked Transylvania University as the Quakers fell 89-76 to the Pioneers, who are ranked 18th in the latest d3hoops.com poll .

The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference game was in Lexington on Feb.1.
