Quakers Earn Academic Honor
Cross Country Team Start
RICHMOND, Ind.The Earlham College men’s cross country team was honor on Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Earlham was named on the list of USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams for 2009. To qualify a team must have at least a 3.1 cumulative GPA, while having competed in a NCAA Regional meet.

With a 3.44 GPA, the Quakers were one of seven North Coast Athletic Conference schools to be recognized.

Emily Sells
Women's Basketball
Emily Sells scored 11 points against Transylvania University in an 84-80 loss on Feb. 1.

She posted team-high numbers with seven rebounds, six assists and three steals in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference contest on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center.

Men's Basketball
Ryan Taylor led Earlham with 19 points against nationally-ranked Transylvania University as the Quakers fell 89-76 to the Pioneers, who are ranked 18th in the latest d3hoops.com poll .

The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference game was in Lexington on Feb.1.
