Levin Defeated in Third Round of the 2009 Wilson/ITA Central Regional

ST. LOUIS, Mo. The weekend came to a close for Earlham College men’s tennis player Henry Levin as he dropped his third round match in the Wilson/ITA Central Regional at Washington University.

Levin fell to Danny Levy 6-2, 6-1 of Washington University on Saturday.   


In a late match on Friday night, Mike Von Vogt and Nabil Parkar lost 8-3 to
Andrew De Vlieger/Matthew De Vlieger of Calvin College in the first round of doubles.

The Quakers resume their regular season schedule by entertaining Franklin College on Oct. 4. The match begins at 9 a.m. Earlham also faces Goshen College later in the day on the EC Courts at 4 p.m.

Women's Basketball
Emily Sells scored 11 points against Transylvania University in an 84-80 loss on Feb. 1.

She posted team-high numbers with seven rebounds, six assists and three steals in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference contest on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center.

Men's Basketball
Ryan Taylor led Earlham with 19 points against nationally-ranked Transylvania University as the Quakers fell 89-76 to the Pioneers, who are ranked 18th in the latest d3hoops.com poll .

The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference game was in Lexington on Feb.1.
