Earlham Will Face Wittenberg for NCAC Tournament Title

RICHMOND, Ind. — The
Earlham College women’s soccer team found out on Wednesday they will be going to
Wittenberg University for Saturday’s North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament Championship match.
The contest is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. The winner earns the NCAC’s automatic bid to the NCAA Div. III National Tournament.
Second-seeded
Wittenberg (10-4-5) defeated third-seeded
Allegheny College (11-6-2) in the semifinals 1-0 at
Springfield to advance.
Fourth-seeded Earlham (12-6-1) reached the finals with a 1-0 victory at top-seeded
Denison University on Tuesday.
The Tigers, who have won the last three NCAC Tournament championships, defeated the Quakers 1-0 in
Richmond on Oct. 20.
