Earlham Will Face Wittenberg for NCAC Tournament Title

RICHMOND, Ind. The Earlham College women’s soccer team found out on Wednesday they will be going to Wittenberg University for Saturday’s North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament Championship match.

The contest is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. The winner earns the NCAC’s automatic bid to the NCAA Div. III National Tournament.

Second-seeded Wittenberg (10-4-5) defeated third-seeded Allegheny College (11-6-2) in the semifinals 1-0 at Springfield to advance.

Fourth-seeded Earlham (12-6-1) reached the finals with a 1-0 victory at top-seeded Denison University on Tuesday.

The Tigers, who have won the last three NCAC Tournament championships, defeated the Quakers 1-0 in Richmond on Oct. 20.

Wittenberg will provide live stats, video and audio.

The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference game was in Lexington on Feb.1.

Women's Basketball
Emily Sells scored 11 points against Transylvania University in an 84-80 loss on Feb. 1.

She posted team-high numbers with seven rebounds, six assists and three steals in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference contest on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center.
