Asingura Makes All-NCAC First Team as Two Others Honored

RICHMOND, Ind. Three players from the Earlham College men’s soccer team were honored by the North Coast Athletic Conference on Monday.

Bannet Asingura headlined the trio as he made All-NCAC First Team, while Nick Costello and Mamary Diarra received honorable mention.

Asingura was third in the NCAC with 11 goals. He also had three assists on the season, which allowed him to finish third in points per game at 1.47.

Costello was Earlham’s second-leading goal producer with seven, including three game-winning goals.

Diarra didn’t score this season, but he proved to be a force in the midfield for the Quakers.

Earlham ended the season at 7-8-3 overall and 2-6-1 in the conference.

Emily Sells
Women's Basketball
Emily Sells scored 11 points against Transylvania University in an 84-80 loss on Feb. 1.

She posted team-high numbers with seven rebounds, six assists and three steals in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference contest on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center.

Ryan Taylor led Earlham with 19 points against nationally-ranked Transylvania University as the Quakers fell 89-76 to the Pioneers, who are ranked 18th in the latest d3hoops.com poll .

The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference game was in Lexington on Feb.1.
