Earlham Completes Season in Cross Country

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — The Earlham College men’s cross country team finished the season on Saturday in the NCAA Div. III Great Lakes Regional.

Jacob Naegeli was the top performer for the Quakers on the 8K course with a time of 27:33.64 to finish in 77th place.

The other runners to score for the Quakers were:
• Sean McGuire, 123rd in 28:10.13.
• Evan Fackler, 158th in 28:46.22.
• John White, 165th in 28:54.56.
• Adam Tobin, 191st in 29:44.87.

Nick Kramer of Calvin College won the individual title with a time of 25:45.65 as he led his squad to the overall title in the 36-team event. Earlham finished 26th.

Emily Sells

Women's Basketball

Emily Sells scored 11 points against Transylvania University in an 84-80 loss on Feb. 1.

She posted team-high numbers with seven rebounds, six assists and three steals in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference contest on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center.

Men's Basketball

Ryan Taylor led Earlham with 19 points against nationally-ranked Transylvania University as the Quakers fell 89-76 to the Pioneers, who are ranked 18th in the latest d3hoops.com poll .

The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference game was in Lexington on Feb.1.
